Antique Hedge Clippers?

My neighbour has this tool and wonders if it an antique and worth anything.

Does anyone have any ideas?

It is in good working order and looks to be little used though a bit rusty.

One handle shows part of an engraved name which might be Ridgeway

Thanks

  • You might be able to find out more about it on line - some people specialise in antique garden tools.

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

One went on ebay for 10.00, but there is similar up for auction at 155.00

  • Philippa, thanks.

The clippers work easily, no need for WD40, and although I haven't tried them on a hedge I am sure they would work.

Lynn, have you got a link for the ebay one at £155?
