Plug plants
Recently got a postal delivery of assorted perennial plug plants from Thompson and Morgan. Have potted them into 3 inch pots as they suggested and plants are doing well. Do I plant them out in a few weeks before the frosts set in, or leave rhem in pots over winter? Am in South Devon with a sheltered garden so winter can be late starting. Advice please!

All perrenials, digitalis, carnations poppies, geums, aqualegia, delphiniums, echinacea, scabious, verbena. Left them in one of those little plastic 'growhpuses' for a couple of days, then put them during the day, have been out day and night for the last few days

If they're filling the 3 inch pots I might put some out. The digitalis if they're D, purpurea, the aquilegias, the geums. If they haven't filled the pots, keep them in.
and I wouldn't put the rest out
