Plug plants

Recently got a postal delivery of assorted perennial plug plants from Thompson and Morgan. Have potted them into 3 inch pots as they suggested and plants are doing well. Do I plant them out in a few weeks before the frosts set in, or leave rhem in pots over winter? Am in South Devon with a sheltered garden so winter can be late starting. Advice please!

  • All perrenials, digitalis, carnations poppies, geums, aqualegia, delphiniums, echinacea, scabious, verbena. Left them in  one of those little plastic 'growhpuses' for a couple of days, then put them during the day, have been out day and night for the last few days

If they're filling the 3 inch pots I might put some out. The digitalis if they're D, purpurea, the aquilegias, the geums. If they haven't filled the pots, keep them in.

and I wouldn't put the rest outimage
