I want to plant up a wall trough for the winter using Pieris and heathers plus non acid loving plants.
My question is will the non acid loving plants thrive in the ericacious soil that I will need to use for the pieris or will they suffer?
look forward to some advise

I have a pot with a pieris in and I always pop a couple of violas in for some winter/spring colour and they always seem to do ok, as to cyclamen.
