no idea

Hi can anyone id this bush/tree we inherited ,it has no green lower down and it has just started to get at the last 6 inches a  little Pink on the ends of the ferns or branches,can i cut and start again or do a darlek on it ,it looks rather sad. many thanks.

    Does the foliage feel soft to the touch or is it hard? If soft, it could be an artemesia of some sort.

    I think that's Tamarisk Alan.

    I never think it looks much but some people like itimage Good at the seaside. Are you at the seaside? I think maybe you are

    Good morning all ,many, many thanks for that info,at the moment it looks nothing but sad with a bit of pink on the end ,now iv got the Tamarisk ill follow it up see if i can help it do better or help it on its way to the compost,suns breaking through erein Norfolk ava gooden all thank youimage

    I've grown tamarisk not far from the sea in Norfolk - it does well and when given some TLC does look lovely - a and doesn't mind the salt air.  Give it a chance, trim it, feed it, mulch it and wait and see what it does in the spring.
