Erigeron karvinskianus
Hello,
I saw this flowering in a neighbours garden in May and when I walked past today it was still going!
There seem to be some good offers for this Erigeron but if I buy now is it too late to plant out? Or is it better to overwinter in pots and plant out in spring?
Thanks,
David

Plant it out now tonks, the ground is still warm and won't cool for another month or more, so it will establish very quickly.
Its only a daisy, my daughter pulled a bit from someones front garden it just took of and spread.
Plant it out now it will be fine. Would your neighbour let you have a root of hers.
Great, thanks, I'll be buying several later today then.
Unfortunately Lyn it's not a neighbour I know or I would be round there in a shot!
This is a plant once, weed out forever plant, do be warned, it seeds all over the place. Don't understand why it is so expensive in the Garden Centres either when it is so easy to grow.
Amazon have 60 seeds for 1.65 easy to grow.
I've found it self seeds well ( but unwanted ones are easy to get rid of) - but you need it to self seed to get into all those nooks and crevices that you could never intentionally plant it in. Now that it has got going it is a star in my stone walls
Lyn,
What a great idea. Hadn't occurred to me to grow from seed. Honestly, you can tell I'm still learning...
Chicky, I have so many little nooks and crevices (well, my garden does) that it will be perfect in. Looking forward to growing it already!
