If that is the case, Zoomer, then MrsG & my various spiders with enlarged abdomen segments are 'in the club', had we best all look out for a crop of spiderlets 'ere long??
Different view of same spider (after eating the slug, & numerous flies over the last several weeks). Makes a lot of sense if she really is heavily gravid...

MsG - your spider is most likely pregnant to, hence the big swollen body a spiders marking also become more defined at this time to ward of preditors.
