cuttings, which I have done many times, but my fuchsias are producing great big fat seed heads. Can I grow new plants from seeds, and if so, when and how please. It seems such a shame to throw them away. Thank you

Yes, you can, they're seeds, they'll germinate. But unless you have some of the species fuchsias they probably won't be like the parents.
