Pear Tree Problem?
Hi, I've been growing a dual pear tree for the past Two years and it is growing a treat.
However I have noticed this year that there seems to be Red Spots on a number of the leaves, they started off as a yellow colour. I do not know if this is a problem but some advice would be useful please.

Pear rust that sounds like. Have a look at the link below.

Thanks for that, I have pruned all the affected leaves. Will I need to spray with a Fungicide?
We'll according to the RHS site there is no specific fungicide for pear rust, so it may be case of good hygiene and vigilance over chemicals. A general purpose fungicide may help, so it's worth a go as there is nothing to lose by trying.
Thanks a lot for all the advice, I will spray with a general Fungicide if I see it again next year. I have inspected the Tree and there does not appear to be any damage, so fingers crossed it won't happen again.
My pears get Pear Rust most years and agree that it's important to remove affected leaves asap. I missed a few this year so took photos of what the spots develop into: rather big spore-producing fruiting bodies below each spot - don't let them get to this stage!:
Thanks Bob, they look exactly like the ones I had. In future I will prune as soon as I see them.
