Hello,
I have a lavatera which I would like to prune fairly hard and move. My questions are...can I prune it hard (back in to the wood) and when is the best time to move it?

lavateras are hard to move because tap rooted-cuttings or seed probably the best plan
I pruned one hard back as it got too big for my wee garden, it never came back into flower again and it eventually died - I must have given it a shock.
they strike really easily from root cuttings
