plum tree dead?

HI all,I was wondering if anyone can help me.My plum tree of two years bore fruithat grew to about the size of a grape, then all the leaves turned brown within a week and the fruit went all wrinkley any ideas,

    Andrew could you post a picture of the current condition of your tree. This may give us a better idea of what is causing the problem. Click on the green tree icon above the dialogue box to post a picture.

    Did you try to prune it because they don't like that and  if you prune at the wrong time the frost and virus will kill it.
