prunus kiki shidare zakura
i've always wanted a prunus, as i plan to totally revamp front garden i think i can get a small one in, i've seen this in parkers catalogue but it just highlights spring as season of interest, anyone know if we'd get a bit of autumn colour too? also it would be near at back of border, i'm presuming it wouldn't crreate too much shade and i could still plant fairly densley under it? most of sun comes south and west and it doesn't look a hugely dense canopy...am i just wishing it to be perfect?

I've just googled it and the RHS website says at has good autumn foliage, which I think pretty much all cherries have
it's just such a good price, way cheaper than i've seen it and i can afford for it to be small for a good while
sorry just wanted to ask also, i love a cottage style heavily planted herbaceous bed, the whole garden is 2 triangular beds with a stone path down the centre, will planting this tree-and a lilac only around 10 feet away- make this impossible?already got japanese anenomes loads of geraniums, snowdrops, narcissus.. planning to add foxgloves, delphininiums, lupins and roses among othersi wouldn't put sun lovers under trees, does this plan sound feasible to those more knowledgable than me?
