What a lovely garden. Do you want to design mine? I class myself as a pretty good plantswoman, but don't have an artistic bone when it comes to design.
Thank you Higgy for your kind comments about the garden. I have had a look at your link and read your blogspot. I just love the flower meadow, cannot think of anything more relaxing than sitting at the bench watching and listening to all the insects enjoying the meadow flowers. Well done. I will follow your updates.
No, the garden has matured over the years. I buy my plants normal size and patiently wait for them to grow, which is pat of the fun of gardening. This year we pulled down our old shed and have replaced it with a greenhouse so I am sowing seeds and taking cuttings.

I did take the plunge and get rid of the grass in my small back garden. Never regretted it. So many plants, so little room!
beautiful garden and so deserved with all the hard work you have obviously put in! Well done and thanks for sharing it with us all....

Did you buy the plants at that level of maturity?
