  • Sorry photos aren't great...

  • Probably foxgloves.

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

Probably Pentaglossis sempervirens, green alkanet but the are other plants with leave quite similar. If you dig one up and the root is very long (and may break off and leave some behind) then that's the one

Might have to wait and see Gingerimage

When the rainy season comes dig one up. A foxglove have finer spready roots and can just be replanted. It won't mindimage

  • Thanks for all the suggestions. I have been out to check and it's close to established foxgloves. Well just moved and I think they are foxgloves but  flower stem has been removed. But leaves are bigger on my one Needing id. So I found a borage plant in my veg patch and yes are same size and shape so I think borage now too. But let's see what happens. Not in hurry to dig up if either nutc, btg or macro is/are rightimage

If they are foxgloves, it's not that the flower stem has been removed: they're biennials and this is their first year.  They'll flower next year. If you want them to, Otherwise it's out with the big fork.
