Mike most off us are on a budget, plants are expensive, when you have to buy quite a few to fill the garden , yes seeds are the cheaper alternative and with the right care and dedication the seeds will germinate and grow on to be great plants . I have bought and sown seeds ,and have had a great deal of satisfaction from growing my own. And my garden does not look the poorer for it .

There are some companies that consistently produce seeds that germinate well, and are reasonable in price. If they can do it why can't all of them?

Just complained to a big company beginning with M as they sell a plant rescue product that MAY harm our bees

They apparently are awaiting the results of government trials to see if the chemical used is dangerous to our bees but are still selling it

    Wont use them again

Everyone is just trying to be Happy.....So lets help Them.

I buy most of my seeds from Kings Seeds via The National Allotment Society. Prices are much lower than Kings Seeds produce sold in shops and their postage is reasonable.

The members on our allotment all order separately as each catalogue contains an order form and it saves a lot of flaffing around. For a catalogue you can contact the National Society of Allotment and Leisure Gardeners direct on 01536 266576.

This year Kings have joined up with Suffolk Herbs who offer organic vegetables and herb and flower seed.
