    Some of the trees in the wood have preservation orders, but it would be possible to work around them. A lot are weed trees and could easily be removed.The old orchard would be cleared as you cant put a preservation order on a fruit tree, they are recognised as having a limited life.

    The last time I moved I potted up over 50 plants including a corkscrew hazel tree, azaleas and roses.  My friend gave them a home in her garden as we had to live in rented accommodation for around 12 weeks before we found the right home.  I never lost a single plant.  Its suprising how resilient they can be.
