Trouble loading pictures

Hi everyone, is anyone else having trouble loading up pictures today? I've tried twice now on two different computers on two different operating systems and I'm getting the same thing each time, inside the box where the picture should be is a weeny teeny blue box and that's it.

No, as you can see it works for me.
It could be that when you post your message, the blue box magically appears as a photo! Mine aren't photos when I upload them, only when I post the message, and I get a small box as well.
Before I post, now, there is a small box.
This is my sister's garden coming up. I hope.
No, the picture appeared when I clicked on upload (eventually) and appeared here when I saved.
I have more trouble viewing pictures than uploading them. Sometimes the choice is between very small indeed and so large I'm getting a blurred close-up of half a petal or the fence behind the plant.
The problem might be in this little Samsung thing. There are usually no problems on the PC

Sometimes the empty box appears because the picture is too large. If you crop a tiny bit off in your photo albums editing function it might work...
Thanks for the input everyone. I'll try just pressing the button and see if the pictures appear when I post and if they don't I'll look like a total idiot and start again!
