Weed or honeysuckle please!
Afternoon
Is there any chance someone could end a "discussion" between me and my lovely husband.
I think this is a weed and he thinks it's honeysuckle!!!
Look forward to your replies.
Best wishes

Not sure if this will work. Hopefully you can see the picture now!
Thanks for letting me know that the first one didn't work,
Best wishes

could it be something related to bindweed, morning glory maybe? I'm sure someone will offer an answer soon. They don't seem to look like honeysuckle leaves to me... But then I don't know much
Can I change my answer to some form of Jasmine?
It could be one of the varieties of honeysuckle - some types have leaves like that - or it does look a bit like jasmine - any more clues?
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Mmmm... maybe, SweetPea - lots of jasmines have leaves divided into leaflets (is that called pinnate?- can't remember), but not all. The star jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides) has leaves that look more like Trish's picture. It's twining like a jasmine, certainly. I think bindweeds and morning glory all have heart-shaped leaves. Anyway, doesn't look like any weed I recognise, Trish - could be wrong of course...
It looks somewhat like a pink coloured jasmine that's taken residence in my hedge alongside a climbing rose, I think some bird is to blame there...
Looks like my pink flowered jasmine too, the flowers are tiny and quite pathetic, I'm going to get rid of it. I've taken cuttings off my mother-in-law's 'Clotted Cream' Jasmine to replace it
I love 'Clotted Cream' too. (The jasmine, I mean... though I'm quite fond of the real thing too
) Seems quite a strong grower, and not too shy flowering, lovely scent and gorgeous colour.
