any computer buffs out there?

I'm searching for a computer buff who can help me PLEASE.
I put Microsoft office 365. on my laptop I have a Windows 8 .
I have some emails which when it says click on the link to open nothing happens.I would appreciate some know how on opening them

It's possible that your anti-virus software (or ISP) has detected viruses or other malware in those particular links on the affected email so is protecting you by refusing to open them. Another possibility is a configuration issue - can you open links in other email messages?
Yes , they open okey with others , this one is from our local councils regarding employment .
Whoever sent the message at the council may not have made them into proper hyperlinks. Try highlighting the link using your mouse and press ctrl-c (copy) then start your web browser, click in the address bar at the top and press ctrl-v (paste.)
I don't have a mouse it is a touch pad
You should still be able to highlight the link using a touchpad - they are just an alternative to a mouse. See here:
