Polypots?

Hi all

Just wondering what people's thoughts are on polythene plant pots? As my beds are not dug out yet and won't be until after Christmas - just wondering if these bag-pots are ok instead of forking out for loads of tubs? (I have a few tubs)

Thanks

I've used them, they're OK but if you have to move them around and they change shape you can dislodge roots.

    In the sticks near Peterborough
  • Thanks Bekkie! I might still give them a go and have planters as well - just wondered whether anyone had any problems with them.

  • I spose if you can put them in a tray of some sort to keep them steady, that should help, is this for the wedding? How exciring! image

I spoke to my Mother-in-law today and she said that she couldn't get anything to grow in them image

Ooooh I will have a nosey at that thread ta! I got a bargain myself today - one of those small pvc greenhouses (4 tier) for £10! It was in a shop called 'this is it' which is where one of our local woolworths used to be - pretty chuffed with that!
