Not a lot here either though they have competition for aphids form sparrows and tits feeding their young. Not many butterflies either. Quite a lot of bees buzzing about though.

Did anyone see the gardeners world program which was letting everyone see the differance between our small english ladybirds and some larger ladybirds , preditors from abroard .?
I think it was when Monty was on last year . ones we are supposed to destroy are bigger and they are wiping out our little ladybirds

not seen one ladybird outside this year, but a couple in the house. saw ONE butterfly today and my first one this year only last week. loads of bees, though, all swaying on the lavendar, so that's good. lots and lots of starlings but that might be because i feed them raisins.

yes we have plenty ladybirds here,I am in south yorkshire .
I had have had some right very bright orange ones visit me.

I had ONE ladybird on my car yesterday.....none in the garden though..!!!
