Continual spraying with glyphosate. Burn on site  all that you cut down. You can use a 5ml oral syringe from the chemist (about 80p) to squirt glyphosate into cut stumps.

Do not transport, compost, or put in bins for the council to take away , as this only spreads the problem. Do not let it flower.

Funny how it's the same grammatical & spelling errors though.....

  • Hi Catherine,

i had some in my garden.  I rang my local council who gave me their advice leaflet and advised me to cut down and burn what was there.  They then came and treated the regrowth for me with the proper injection equipment and chemicals.  For less than £100. (Think it was £70 or something.) Problem solved.

ignore the adverts. Do it properly.  Ring council for advice.  If they can't do the job for you they may be able to recommend a local company.

    good luck.
