Pruning heathers
in Plants
Can you cut back heathers that have become "leggy" without harming the plant and if so when is the best time to do so?

Jo, trim back heathers immediately after flowering,BUT, do not cut into old wood. Ideally just cut two thirds of the way down the flower stem and no more.
Ok, thank you.
