Leucanthemum superbum - can't remember exactly what they are but they have shaggy heads - and echinacea which have both been flowering for ages and are still looking good. On the veg front, 5 x climbing french beans and 2 courgette plants (all I grow as I don't have much room) which have fed/are still feeding me with enough to spare to give away.
I planted campanula lactiflora 'prichard's variety' last autumn. It started flowering in June and is still going strong with lots of new buds coming on. A very beautiful perennial.
Likewise with Thalictrum delavayi - a great show earlier in the year and still occasional flowers and the foliage is very pretty

I quite fancy one of those. It's meant to be compact...what has that meant in your garden Verdun?
Fluffy Cloud, I've PM'd you re Achilleas. I know the email notifications aren't working that's all.
Sorry to interrupt the thread guys!

Verdun thanks for reply about Anchusa. It was newly planted this late spring. Hope I can keep it but if not I have photos

Cucumber 'Crystal Apple' prolific/delicious and not too large.
Marmande tomatoes; just wonderful
I'd love to grow marmande tomatoes, will try one day.
Abutilon 'Bella' is not exactly new, but at least, new to me! And great.
Short, always loaded with beautiful flowers, no pests.
Only have to 'uplift' the flowers to appreciate them better...
