Thyme Dying Off
Hello all,
I have a pot with two thyme plants in. One is a big silver lemon thyme (silver queen), and the other is a creeping serpyllum. After flowering, the later has partly died off, towards the centre of the plant. Could it be that the larger one is crowding it out, or is there anything else that springs to mind? I don't think I've overwatered on this occasion.
Thanks,
Owen.

Great. Thanks Philippa Smith.
If I do the mounding trick, will it then be possible to divide the thyme next year? I'm hopeless with cuttings.
Thanks. But I've tried a million times and it never works. Some things in life I'm good at, some I'm not!
