  • Oh no SGL! Your poor friend! Shingles can be nasty when your immune system is low, sorry, i dont mean to make you worry more, and even if you were there , there is buggar all you can do, just be there for support and a chat when she is well enough, i will keep my fingers crossed that it isnt to bad and passes quickly x
  • I know bekkie, its awful. I'm worried for her and also her daughter who's looking after her. She must be getting pretty low too. My friend was asleep when her daughter phoned me, she doesn't sound well at all. Thanks for your kindness x

  • Sleep is the best thing babe, we all have far more strength than we realise, it will take time for her to get better, try not to worry, use the time to plan a nice day out when shes better x

What a shame for your friend lily, as if she hasn't had enough to contend with.  As bekkie said all you can do is support her and her daughter, who must be so worried, by phone and letting them know you are thinking of them.  Hugs.

Really sorry to hear this SGL, I do hope she starts to feel a bit better soon. Very best wishes to all concerned.

  • Thank you everyone. I don't know how both are coping with it all. It just seems to be one thing after the other. Not sure whether I've mentioned it before but they still trying to come to terms with the sudden death of my friends husband last November. Life seems so cruel at times.

Just wish I lived closer, but I can't leave my sister at the moment anyway.

  • Thank you Runnybeak, very kind means a lot.

I've just received an email telling me you have pm'd me. Really sorry but I can never see or send pms. image

Perhaps someone could send you my email.

  • I've messaged Runnybeak with your emal Lily image
