What is this plant?

Hello

Does anyone know what this plant is? Its been in my garden for about five years and self-seeded. I have just left it there as it filled up a space.

    Can you describe the flower? If it seeds freely, what does the seed pod look like?



    I suspect a weed.

    Thanks for the replies.

    I was thinking it could be a violet only the leaves were a lot larger then the ones that have seeded themselves in my pots.

    I brought three violets this year and all grew big and leafy and not one flower! Was very disappointed image
