Yes I have this plant, my dad gave to me last year, they are now five foot tall, but they look so nice
I have a white version, which flowers now when other flowers are about to give up the ghost. It is planted in poor soil next to a little conifer and has only spread about 6" in 3 years. But I'm keeping an eye on it
they're a good plant for dry shade where little else thrives but can be a bit of a thug if they are too happy. I have some growing under a tree where they provide welcome flowers when the tree is in full leaf but I will have to thin out the ones I planted in a sunny border with good soil, they are crowding out everything else!
