    Oh Philippa, I am very much an amateur LOL, not had quite the successful year I wanted but have learnt lots and will carry those lessons forward to next year when I will no doubt add to my knowledge again image

    I know Obelixx is right and wouldn't dream of bring anything back from tropical counties as I am well aware of the risks.......but there are ways of telling people without calling them 'thoughtless'.......dim sometimes yes but thoughtless never image image

    Anyway, onwards and upwards, I've had some good advise from people on here and on PM so will take that with me on my holibobs image Thank you for your good wishes image

    It's prob best not to bring any home. It would be easier to buy the seeds over here.

    AWB, I've grown allium and eringyium maritimum from seed I brought back from Corfu. And the owner of the apartment block dug up a chunk of fabulous coral pink canna and it's doing very well.
