  Hopefully one of the experts will see this and give you propper advice! Its been a long time since i grew them!
  
  
  
  The aim is to keep the middle of the bush kind of free from growth so air can circulaye, this helps to keep fungal problems away. Prune the oldest, cruddy looking stems out and also anything that is crossing over or damaged
