Murraya Hedge leaves falling off

HELP - we have a beautiful murraya hedge that is approx 10 years old in fabulous condition. BUT...........over the last few weeks we are noticing that all the leaves are starting to be stripped off it. There is zero sign of pests or caterpillars or disease. It seems to happen overnight. The branches are intact but the leaves are just falling off. If I light touch the tree the leaves just fall off it. Please help.

- I presume you're either in the US or the antipodes - Murraya isn't hardy here in the UK . Not sure if any of the regulars on here will have grown it ....
