Passion flower

Hello, I purchased this passion flower in spring but didnt plant it out as it looked a little weak, anyhow, it has romped away in a pot. The leaves are turning yellow now. Should I prune it? Should I leave it outside over winter or put it in the greenhouse? Thanks for any tips.

Tootles I've only grown one and it did well in a big pot in full sun on trellis against house wall . Neighbour built a conservatory and put it in shade so it wasn't happy. I pruned and put the pot in GH to overwinter it as they aren't fully hardy here unless in shelter & warmth. It grew like billio in GH, flowers and stems all over even in early April. I think if I'd left it in there it would have taken over. Sadly I had to send it to compost heap in the sky because I didn't have a place outside for it
Thanks Philippa, Kef. Eek, I'm a bit scared of it now! Not sure I'm after anything rampant. will have to think very carefully about where to plant it....or who to gift it to!
Gift it to me tootles
Mine grows up a drainpipe at the back of my house (south facing). It is outside in the ground all year round and puts on a lot of growth over the summer. I leave most of the growth on over the winter to protect it and prune hard in spring. It is twenty years old now so obviously likes this treatment.
