Hello everybody. This is a California poppy which survived the winter , and really did well this year . I really like the colour a beautiful creamy yellow . I was hoping if I kept the seed , I would be able to enjoy it again next year ,or am I being to optimistic ? Thanks , Wendy .

Those poppies look so pretty Wendy.  No reason why you shouldn't be able to sow the seeds in the spring - they can also self seed as well.  No harm in trying.

  • Thank you 1R1 andFor2 ,I was hoping, will they be the same colour next year ,or will they be different ?

  • Thank you Philippa ,the photo doesn`t do them justice .

They are hardy annuals so can also be sown August/September
