What's this flower
in Plants
The plant is "growing" in a tub and is either sick or very tasty for something. I would love to find out what it is so I can look after it properly. I think it could be quite lovely.
Thanks in anticipation

It's a tradescantia (aka spiderwort) named after John Tradescant, the great 17th century plant collector and botanist.

Have you ever seen a gang of hungry geologists descend on my picnic table. They might be knackered from a day tramping over beach boulders or quarry faces but cake doesn't stand a chance. Any sort of cake disappears fast and that includes my Christmas cake. I was browsing dried fruit shelves today as I like to start early. It's the alcohol added at frequent intervals between September and December which makes it so popular
I'm not a geologist but your picnic table sounds tempting!
