They will grow and flower anywhere. Lot of ours are thriving and flowering round the base of trees like that, in deep dark shade too. Leave them there and see what happens.
I'd assume if they've seeded there themselves they'll be happy to grow in those conditions
Aquilegias grow in all sorts of places as Berghill says. There are ones where I work which never see the light of day and flower beautifully amongst all sorts of other planting including an Acer.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I had them self seed at the base of my Rowan Tree, beautiful dark purple ones came up every year no problem. Was gutted when I moved in February as I hadn't taken any seeds off it with me. Boo Hoo!

I would go with Aquilegia, having enlarged the picture. Weeds if they are where you do not want them to grow.

Aquilegia I would also say but if you leave them were they are they won't be very happy, too near the tree base.
