What is this strange plant growing on a gorse?!

  It's ok, my dad was head chef in a hotel between Lynton and Lynmouth when I was a child, so I know the area really well! Used to love walking around the Valley of the Rocks.

  Me too.    Spent some time at Lee Abbey after I left school - long time ago!  Lovely area.

  Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
