Cheap seeds

My local branch of The Works is selling packets of Mr Fothergills vegetable and flower seeds at 4 for a pound. Sow by dates seem to range from 2012 to 2014. Just got myself some and will be going back for more!

    Thanks for the tip, I went to a GC this week that were selling seeds half-price so I bought some Winston Churchill sweet peas for next year, us gardeners are such optimists.image

    Yes I did the same the last two years and they all worked well and at 50% of the usual price. Have bought some more ready for next year.  Bargain

    ....  but surely next year will be wonderful, we all know that it always is?  Lots of half price seeds heading this way too.

    Thanks - Will pay the works a visit.

    I bought some seeds whilst on holiday. So much cheaper in France and you get loads. Got 2g of heirloom toms-Cerise for about £1 and the sow by date isn't until 2017.

    Wait till later on and the works offer them at 10p pct and the garden centre group on 1st sept start their sale and the seeds are usually 50p pct.
