Chilean Potato Plant

CHILEAN POTATO PLANT

I have had one for about 5 years. I feed it often and cut it down hard every autumn. It comes back vigorously every year growing to about six feet tall and three feet wide through a support. It has not produced one flower for the last 2 years, but flowered well in the years before.

Any ideas?

You are pruning it too hard. Cutting it hard back every year is likely to kill it. The usual method of removing no more than one third of the old stems every year is the recommended technique. Your feeding technique may also be a contributing factor - too much feeding or the wrong feed may encourage the plant to just make green growth.
