I am house-sitting and in the garden there is this beautiful red flower. Can anyone enlighten me as to what it is? Thanks!

    Thanks! I would never have guessed that, I thought it was more like a lily because of the leaves, but I can see the resemblance in the flowers. Anyway, I can sleep tonight now I have the answer image
