Hi Nutcutlet - I didn't know about West Acre Gardens but - after a quick Google - it looks like an excellent trip. We only get back from holiday on the Friday but I might see if I can possibly get there - it looks very much like my sort of place & I like the sound of 'other nurseries' being there
Are you going in a private capacity or did you want to meet anyone else going? Nobody will be offended if you want to stick with your own family or friends!!
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
In have a local friend who came with me last year and may like to come again but she'll be happy to meet new people. Artjak might like to come if she's free (lovely walled garden artjak)
Thanks nut - I'll be in touch nearer the time - I probably won't know for sure if I can make it until the Friday - but I've got your phone number in case we don't catch up on the forum.
It does look like a really good event (& I like the other nurseries associated with this garden) so I will try very hard to get there.
What with that & Beth Chatto's the week after - it's going to be a garden-rich September - hurrah!

I intend to go to the autumn colour day and West Acre gardens on 20th September.
Lovely garden (ask chicky), a proper nursery, plus visiting nurseries selling plants.
In addition to Castor House which artjak and I and possibly Dove will be visiting next Sunday

Loved West Acre
- well worth a visit if you haven't been before. Plus came home with a bootful of plants that are all thriving one year on
Morning
these gardens sound good, on my list for future visits.
Any chance of photos on the Gardens visited thread?
Cheesy twiglets - tasty!
Bizzie, there are photos on the East Ruston thread from a previous trip

Thank you
look forward to these when on my coffee break.
Must get out now as rain forecast and much to do (as ever!)

Nut, we haven't forgotten about next Sunday - limited access to laptop at the moment but normal service should be resumed on Wednesday.
West Acre is tempting too
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Cake and plants, cake & plants, cake & plants ..... how could you resist ...! (devil smiley)
