plug plants when can i plant out?

i bought some perenial plug plants a month ago and potted on into 9cm pots. they are now a good size. should i plant out now before winter or leave in pots inside or out and plant out in spring?

I bought a collection of perennials from T & M last autumn and most of imagetheshave overwintered in an unheated cold frame.   they look healthy and strong and I wonder if anyone could tell me when it would be safe to plant them in the garden.   I am an elderly but enthusiastic amatuer and have had no experience at

    Thank you Verdun, I have listened and will get busy repotting.   The only problem I am likely to have is room to put all those larger pots in the coldframe and I do not have a greenhouse.   However, thanks for the reply.
