What is this plant? Could it be a weed?
Hey everyone, I've found this plant near my pond a while ago and have left it growing as I didn't reconise it to be a weed and i love the folage and find it a really pretty plant and looks lovely nestled in beside the pond. It must be a present from the bird or a seed that's blown in if not a weed as it's never been something I've planted and nothing like anything else in my garden. I wondered if anyone on here could help me identify it. Thanks so much, Nenah

Does anyone feel that this could be it?
Yes, I think you're probably right
A caper spurge, a type of euphorbia, also reputed to deter moles.
As with all euphorbias, wear gloves to handle as the sap causes skin to be burned easily in the sun, causing blisters.
It is Euphorbia Latherus can get quite tall and self seeds.
I agree with the others, I have a couple in my garden, but don't worry about seedlings, they are very easy to pull out, I only find 3 or 4 seedlings each year.
mole plant, toxic sap that some people react to, remove it wearing gloves before it flowers and compost
