Wherever did you find info on the web suggesting that they might be edible?  That's dangerous image

When my daughter was in hospital with Asthma a small child was brought in after eating sweet peas and she was very ill.

So, is it possible that my favourite flowers (and I grow hundreds!) could be the root cause of my asthma?

You'd have to have allergy testing to find that out.

My OH has asthma and we can't have scented flowers in the house as they make him wheeze, but he's ok with a bunch of sweet peas on the dinner table.
