1 is one of the nightshades, probably Solanum nigrum.

    I don't recognise the climber

  • Is No 1 Physalis?

  • think Joe is prob right re No 1. Not sure about No 2.... but basically, if you didn't plant it, it is prob a weed, and a thuggish one.

  • Hi All

I did not plant any of these plants this year or last. and as for the boarder plant No 1. it was not their last year. I have a whole boarder full of these plants. so have weed them out few and kept few to see what grows from it.

Thank you all. But hoping someone one tell me what is the plant in the 2nd photo.

    Have a fab day

Wanna be, could you do some more photos please?image

You'll be able to tell nightshade from physalis soon. Nightshade will have berry-like fruit and physalis will have inflated papery cases and the fruit inside. Orange cases for chinese lanterns, brownish for the edible ones.

Anything that wasn't there last year and is all over the garden now is an annual. Beware of letting it seed this yearimage

I get lots of pic 1/2 in my garden. It's a weed. gets to abt 3' and has tiny white (i think) flowers that look a bit like rape flowers. As suggested above prob. solanum of some sort

No idea what it's called though
