mouldy strawberries

Hi, 

I'm really new to gardening, i have some hanging baskets with strawberries in them and i do seem to be getting quite a lot of flowers but it seems that a lot of the fruit are going mouldy before they ripen... any ideas?

    Simply-it is a sign that they are just too wet.

    i suppose there isn't much i can do about that short of bringing them inside.

    Not really-actually that that is quite a good solution-in an ideal summer they would be fine-this isn't
