Hellebore Leaves Problem

Over the past 4 or 5 months, my hellebore leaves have developed these white patches.  Does anyone know what it is and how I can solve it?

I know you really need to leave the leaves on till Feb or so, but if I have any tatty or diseased ones, I nip them off.

However, that is not the way that the fungus which causes Hellebore leaves to go black, begins.

  • Thanks guys. I've had a look for greenfly but can't see any at the moment.

Thanks verdun, I have white ones out in flower now, maybe that's because I grew them from seeds. I hope they flower again in the winter, maybe cut these flowers off?
