Blackberry

Hi I have two plants growing on a frame orientated north/south. The northerly plant is fine. However, the southerly plant is another story. It appears to have gone into autumn mode i.e. poor miserable fruit and leaves in autumn colours.I don't think it can be any airborne contaminant as all other plants around them are fine, so please has anybody any ideas as to the reason for this?.

    Is it too dry?

Blackberries are woodland plants and need some shade. A southern aspect would imply a lot of Sun.
