I would try hand picking them off and daily inspections.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Thanks dove have done this ,I just wondered if there was an organic spray I could've mix ed up or buy. I have sprayed with soapy water this morning too .
Once they get to that size, even nasty chemical sprays are pretty useless, let alone organic ones. Hand picking and vigilance are your only effective weapon.
I have put them outside in there big pots ,thought maybe this heavy rain we are having will knock any remaining ones off !
I am at a loss as to how and where I have got them from this must be the fourth year I have bought them from jersy plants .never had caterpillars on capsicum before .I did wonder if it's the cabbage white butterfly ,.
I am a supplier of fresh and quality capsicum's at a good reasonable prize.
For more details you can mail me on [email protected].
Thanks & Regards,
Joel Rodrigues.
