Grape Vine Problems...
I have cultivated a White Vitis Sauvignon vine for 3 years now, very successfully - this year however although the vine appears to have had buds and some leaves have appeared, they have instantly died. I can't see any insect damage, but the vine (about 5ft tall) is bare, but still very much alive when I try to break a piece off. What makes this all the more confusing is that there are 3 other vines in the same area and all of these are growing and thriving well... can anyone help please or has experienced the same??

What's the drainage like in that area? We had a very wet winter and grapevines really aren't happy with wet around the roots. If the drainage could be slightly worse there than for the other vines, that may be something to consider.
