  • HI everdody,

I am moving to Northern Scotland from Devon. I have several Acers growing. Should I put them into pots now or wait until the time is nearer for the move . it should be in late July.

    Hi all

I have a few acres in Pots

obe has died, and I have seen the dreaded vine weevil around the garden.

    Should I plant out?

  • Hi,

My son has just accidentally chopped down my Acer. He was trying to get to a tree that was growing behind it which I wanted removing. I'm gutted! He feels really bad about it. Is there anything that can be done? Or is it all over for this Acer? He's cut clean through the base :(

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • I thought as much. Thank you anyway ?

  • Can anyone tell me if you can successfully move a 15 year old ace , it's 10 ft high was going to try and move it end of November. Many thanks.

    Simple answer: no.
You need to decide whether it is the tree or the pot you value most.
If you choose the tree, then make sure, when you repot, it to use a pot that tapers outwards :)
