We inherited a plum tree no idea what type but all the plums are going mildew on the tree virtually all the plums are ruined. Such a shame as they taste lovely any ideas why? We put a grease band on earlier this year

Yes it is that thank you so much for that now I know what it is I have to sort it
Cornishpixie.....a grease-band won't really help as this is intended to deter the plum moth caterpillar...mildew is a different issue.
